Perfect for siting in a quiet position out of the prevailing wind in an area with some nearby vegetation cover, the dome measures an impressive 460mm in diameter, making it the ideal hedgehog family space.
Cover with twigs, leaves and brushwood to provide your garden critters with a little extra insulation and spread some leaves or short grass inside the dome to make them feel right at home. An area of the garden nearby to plenty of garden slugs is especially preferable to provide them with a delicious natural food source right at the end of their snouts.
Ensure the dome home is covered with dry leaves and brushwood during winter hibernation. If there are badgers or boisterous dogs around , the DOME may be firmly anchored using 2 – 4 tent pegs hooked over the metal frame and driven into the ground.
