Origins Washable 'Windsor' Rug

Our new range of My Washable easy-care rugs are an excellent solution for busy households where spills are bound to occur. The traditional and elegant design of our Windsor rug contains a print inspired by flora and fauna with an ornate boarder to add a traditional feel. In a beautiful soft colour palette containing mainly natural tones with hints of blue, maroon and green to add some subtle colour to your home. Made from soft, yet hard wearing Chenille and TRP with a non-slip backing, meaning you can easily lay the rug down before and after washing. Ideal for high traffic areas such as your kitchen, hallway, dining room and living rooms. Available as a rectangular rug or runner.

  • Material Composition: Chenille, Backing: 50% TPR + 50% Cotton 
  • Pile Weight: 1100g/m2
  • Woven Printed
Care Instructions:
  • Machine wash at 30, do not use bleach. 
  • Line drying is recommended. 
  • If using a dryer, do not use heat. Use an air-only dry cycle. 
  • A low heat iron can be used if needed, on the front face of the rug only.
  • Regular vacuuming will help to keep your rug looking new for longer and prevent dirt that is on the surface of the rug getting embedded and making it much harder to clean. We would recommend the use of a suction vacuum cleaner to ensure that the pile of the rug isn’t damaged. It is always useful to rotate your rug on a regular basis to even out the wear of the rug or fade if it is in natural sunlight.
  • SPILLS & STAINS: To prevent permanent stains on your rug any spills must be dealt with as soon as they happen. If spills occur, blot up excess with a clean white cloth or paper towel, NB. never rub as this can spread the spill. Working from the outer edge of the stain to the centre, apply appropriate carpet cleaner with a clean cloth. Pat with a paper towel and leave to dry. Vacuum the rug. If stain is still visible repeat the process until the stain is completely removed. If trying to remove the stain yourself doesn’t work contact a professional carpet/rug cleaning company.
